SBI is proud to announce the newest addition to their growing family of COVID-19 research tools, pPACK-SPIKE B.1.351 RBD Mutations Lentivector Packaging Mix. This pPACK-SPIKE version enables production of lentivirus pseudotyped with the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein containing receptor binding domain mutations K417N, E484K, N501Y from emerging lineage B.1.351, also known as 501Y.V2 or the "South African" variant.
Like the previously released pPACK-SPIKE lentivirus packaging mixes, pPACK-SPIKE B.1.351 RBD Mutations gives you the ability to efficiently study this spike protein variant under BSL-2 conditions, such as for neutralization assays and therapeutic discovery.
